Cleveland Bible Camp Ends Successfully

A total of 166 persons attended the Cleveland Bible Camp, north of Stuart, during two sessions that last two weeks, and directors termed the camp program a complete success.

The senior High Camp from June 28 to July 1 had an enrollment of 29 high school young people and 24 children and staff members, making a total of 54 people.

The Intermediate Camp, from July 5-10 , had an enrollment of 69 intermediates and seven little children, 14 high school students who served as helpers and 22 people served as teachers.

The theme for the study this year was "Christ, The Way". Besides class work, worship services were held both in the morning and evening. Handicraft projects and recreation were held in the afternoon.

There was a consecration service at the campfire in which each camper gave a testimony on "What Chridt Meant to Him". Many of them have accepted Jesus Christ as there Savior.

The camp close on July 10, with a Camp Sunday service at 11:00 a.m. and a picnic dinner at 12:00 noon, a closing exercise at 2:00 p.m. by all of the campers. There were 250 people participating in this outdoor gathering. Dr. Oliver B. Proett, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Wayne, gave a stirring message, both in the morning and afternoon, on the topics - " Christ, the Way", and "The Common Task of Christians".

Projects this year were to improve the water system, sanitary facilities and add a roof a roof to one of the dormitories.
