Cleveland Bible Camp Ends
Successfully
A total of 166
persons attended the Cleveland Bible Camp, north of Stuart, during two
sessions that last two weeks, and directors termed the camp program a
complete success.
The senior High Camp from June
28 to July 1 had an enrollment of 29 high school young people and 24
children and staff members, making a total of 54 people.
The Intermediate Camp, from
July 5-10 , had an enrollment of 69 intermediates and seven little
children, 14 high school students who served as helpers and 22 people
served as teachers.
The theme for the study this
year was "Christ, The Way". Besides class work, worship services were
held both in the morning and evening. Handicraft projects and recreation
were held in the afternoon.
There was a consecration
service at the campfire in which each camper gave a testimony on "What Chridt Meant to Him". Many of them have accepted Jesus Christ as there
Savior.
The camp close on July 10,
with a Camp Sunday service at 11:00 a.m. and a picnic dinner at 12:00
noon, a closing exercise at 2:00 p.m. by all of the campers. There were
250 people participating in this outdoor gathering. Dr. Oliver B. Proett,
pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Wayne, gave a stirring
message, both in the morning and afternoon, on the topics - " Christ,
the Way", and "The Common Task of Christians".
Projects this year were to
improve the water system, sanitary facilities and add a roof a roof to
one of the dormitories.

Niobrara Presbytery Is Having
Camp Conference
The Presbytery of Niobrara of
the Presbyterian Church is holding a Camp Conference for Junior High
students at Cleveland Bible Camp, north of Stuart this week. The camp
opened, Monday July 11, and will have closing exercises, Saturday, July
16.
There are 43 Junior High
Students from all churches of the Presbytery of Niobrara, as far east as
Norfolk and as far west as Valentine.
The Rev. and Mrs. Joseph E. Walstad of Niobrara, Rev. and Mrs. James E. Griffes of Carroll, Rev. and
Mrs. Earl G. Anderson of Madison, Rev. and Mrs. J. Olson Kennel and Mrs.
Williams of O'neill and Mrs. Linford Sweet and Mrs. Noma Hall of Stuart
are serving on the staff at the camp.
The Reverends F. F. Payas of
Atkinson and D. D. Su are serving as special speakers.
