Special church services were held at the Cleveland Bible
camp for church groups in the Cleveland, Atkinson and Stuart communities
on July 15.. The day's program included a camp service at 11a.m.,
a picnic at noon, and an award service for campers at 2 p.m. An
estimated 450 relatives and friends of the campers attended the closing
services of the five day camp.
Eighty-three campers enrolled at the
Cleveland site this year. Instructors for the five day session
which started Tuesday afternoon were: Rev. Orin Graff, Rev. E. G.
Hughes, Eloise Rustad and Margaret Hamill. Recreational director
was Rev. E. G. Ihrig
Helpers
were Hank Warren, Bill Mulford, Vern Hickok, Onie Mclurg, Betty
Anderson, Jean Burhans, Jean Cobb, Shirley Shald and Laura Mulford.
Mrs. Charlotte Cobb, Mrs. Vivian Cobb and Mrs. Noma Hall were the camp
cooks.
Vesta Adams showed pictures Wednesday night
and Laura MacLachlan on Thursday night. Rainy weather kept the campers
indoors part of the time drying out wet clothes. The boys were housed in
a newly constructed dormitory, and the girls stayed in the Cleveland
